1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Marcos Bustos, based in Valencia, Spain, publisher of Hosting Reviews Pro (reseñasdehostingpro.com). Contact: creativowebvlc@gmail.com.
2. What this site collects
There are no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no contact form on this site. The only personal data involved is:
- Server logs. My hosting provider (Hostinger) records the usual technical data when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, browser and the page asked for. Purpose: delivering the site, security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Cookies and similar technologies. Only strictly necessary ones are used before you decide. Advertising cookies are used only if you consent. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Spanish LSSI Art. 22.2). See the cookie policy.
- Emails you send me. Your address and whatever you write. Purpose: replying to you. Legal basis: the pre-contractual or informational request you made, and my legitimate interest in answering it.
3. Consent for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform, integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, appears before any advertising cookie is set. It offers “Consent”, “Do not consent” and “Manage options” at the same level, so refusing is as easy as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Privacy & cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
4. Advertising
This site is funded partly by advertising served by Google.
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info, or, in Europe, at Your Online Choices.
- Where consent is required, personalised advertising is used only if you gave it in the consent message described in section 3. If you refuse, non-personalised or limited ads may still be shown; these do not use advertising cookies to profile you.

5. Who receives your data
- Hostinger International Ltd., as hosting provider, acting as a processor under a data processing agreement.
- Google, as the provider of the email account used for the contact address, if you write to it.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited for users in Europe) for advertising, and its advertising partners, only within the limits of the consent you gave.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens it is covered by the safeguards the GDPR allows, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold.
6. How long data is kept
- Server logs: the retention period applied by the hosting provider, typically a few weeks or months.
- Emails: while the conversation is useful, and deleted within twelve months of the last message, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Consent choices: stored in your browser by the consent tool, for up to thirteen months, after which you are asked again.
7. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to creativowebvlc@gmail.com and I will answer within one month. You can also withdraw advertising consent at any time from the footer link, and you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, aepd.es, if you think your rights have not been respected.
8. Children
This site is written for adults who run websites. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
